The Management Science Association (MSA) of the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi, operates this Student Portal. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal data is handled securely and transparently. This policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information.

We collect information that is necessary to provide you with access to the portal's features, including class schedules, event registrations, and notice boards.

• Authentication Data: When you sign in via Google, we receive your FMS institutional email address and profile name.
• Profile Information: During onboarding, we collect your full name, batch, section, and mobile number.
• Activity Data: We record your event registrations, notice board interactions, and role-specific actions (e.g., rescheduling classes if you are a CR).

3. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used exclusively for institutional purposes within FMS Delhi:

• To verify your status as an active student or faculty member.
• To manage event registrations and compulsory attendance tracking.
• To personalize your academic calendar based on your batch and section.
• To send urgent notifications regarding schedule changes or official notices.

4. Data Sharing and Security

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties. Data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) and is only accessible to authorized MSA administrators and portal developers. Access to student information (like phone numbers) is restricted based on user roles and institutional necessity.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access and update your profile information at any time via the Profile section of the portal. Since the portal uses institutional authentication, account deletion requests must be coordinated through the Technical Society or MSA administrative office.
